Although Hawkeyes supporters are thrilled by the team’s performance, opposing fans are drawing attention to Clark because of her skill on the court.

Fans of the opposition are making special trips to see Clark when she visits the area. This season, Clark and Iowa have traveled to five different places, and each of those five games has sold out, something that doesn’t typically happen for those clubs’ home games.

A few months back, in October, Clark participated in the outdoor “Crossover” game at Kinnick Stadium, home of the collegiate football team, versus DePaul. 55,646 people showed up for that game.

Fans of basketball want to watch excellence, and Clark consistently delivers it to them.

Being the first women’s athlete to top Division I in both points and assists in a single season, Clark was selected unanimously to the first team of the NCAA as a sophomore.

In her junior year, she led Iowa to its first national championship game and took home every major national player of the year honor.

Clark set Big Ten single-season records for points and assists and once again topped Division I in assists. She shattered the Big Ten lifetime assist record as a senior and rose to become Iowa’s all-time top scorer.
