Indianapolis Colts’ Michael Pittman Jr. Fantasy: WR NFL Data & Stats Speculations 2022
Player Outlook
When talking about the top wide receivers in the NFL, people rarely mention Michael Pittman Jr. He is ready to take over as the top receiver for the Indianapolis Colts in 2022.
The 24-year-old ended as the overall WR17 in fantasy football last season, and as training camp progresses, he will probably forge a bond with seasoned quarterback Matt Ryan.
Pittman’s name could become more well-known after the 2021 season and some of the decisions the Indianapolis Colts made. Pittman recorded 1,082 receiving yards in just his second NFL season, averaging 12.3 yards per reception. Six touchdowns were also added, compared to only one in his debut season.

How successful Pittman and Ryan together will be will only become clear with time. He should have every chance to raise his stats this year with a more capable throwing, that much is certain. Michael Pittman Jr., who has a career season, emerges as the Colts’ top wide receiver option and runs a route that accounts for 96% of offensive dropbacks, which ranks third in the league.

Fantasy managers are hoping Pittman’s third season produces better results than the No. 3 receiver. Currently, Pittman is being selected as the WR13, slightly in front of Terry McLaurin and Jaylen Waddle.

He’s in a good and just place there. He didn’t record the best air yards in his third season, but they were still respectable and a huge improvement from his dismal rookie campaign.
