“I’m Gonna Go on Record and Say…”: NBA Legend Trashes Former Buccaneers Star For Tom Brady’s Recent Struggles Amidst Divorce Saga

Shaquille O’Neal is aware of Tom Brady’s struggles both on and off the field as an NFL great. O’Neal’s relationship with the mother of his four children ended after he won a championship with the Miami Heat in the 2005–06 season. Big Diesel, through a challenging period during which his statistics drastically decreased as he fought through off-court conflicts. Tom Brady, who is a seven-time Super Bowl winner and arguably the best NFL player at his position, is floundering through a 3-5 campaign.

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal claimed to understand Brady’s difficulties. He also called out Brady’s former teammate at Bucs, Antonio Brown, for his role in Brady’s recent struggles.

Shaq said on ‘The Big Podcast’: “So I’m gonna go on record and say that’s the reason why he’s not looking like Tom Brady right now. Because all the other times she was there and all that. But now she’s not there and all this business industry. And you got his boy AB [Antonio Brown] sending pictures and doing all this and you know acting crazy and doing all that stuff. So, he’s going through a lot right now.”

Shaquille O’Neal said he understood what it was like to watch one’s stats decline when things in their personal life weren’t going well. He remembered that when he and his wife divorced, his children were the first to leave the house. O’Neal would return to his empty mansion after workouts and games as a result.
