The Sacramento Kings is a California-based American professional basketball club. The Kings are a member of the Western Conference Pacific Division of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Sacramento Kings are the NBA’s oldest team and the only team in the major professional North American sports leagues to be based in Sacramento.

The Golden 1 Center is an indoor arena in downtown Sacramento, California, USA. It occupies a portion of the former Downtown Plaza shopping centre.  The arena is part of the Downtown Commons (DoCo) business and entertainment complex, which also features a $250 million 16-story mixed-use tower.

The arena, which replaced ARCO Arena as the home of the NBA’s Sacramento Kings, holds concerts, conventions, and other sporting and entertainment events. Capacity can be increased to approximately 19,000 to suit concert audiences.

They hold two championships. 1 NBL (1946) and 1 NBA (1951) After failing to find success in its previous market, the franchise relocated to Sacramento after the 1984-85 season, where it currently resides. The Kings have had the most straight losing seasons in NBA history, with sixteen. They also have the longest active postseason drought of any of the four major North American sports.
