According to Forbes, the Dallas Cowboys became the first sports club to be valued at $4 billion in 2015, making them the most valuable sports team in the world. In 2014, the Cowboys earned $620 million, a record for a professional sports franchise in the United States. They also became the first NFL club to be valued at $5 billion in 2018, and they were named the most valuable NFL team for the 12th year in a row by Forbes.
