How are Carolina Panthers Spending Their Money in the NFL?
The Carolina Panthers are a North Carolina-based professional American football team. As a member of the National Football Conference South division, the Panthers participate in the National Football League. In 1993, the Panthers were named the league’s 29th franchise, and they began to play in 1995. They had a good first two years, going 7–9 in 1995 and 12–4 the following year, capturing the NFC West before falling in the NFC Championship Game to the eventual Super Bowl winner, Green Bay Packers.
The Panthers didn’t win another game until 2003 when they won the NFC Championship Game and advanced to Super Bowl XXXVIII when they were defeated 32–29 by the New England Patriots. After making the playoffs in 2005 and 2008, the squad didn’t make another appearance until 2013, when it won the first of three consecutive NFC South titles.
The Panthers returned to the Super Bowl in 2015, but lost to the Denver Broncos, after losing in the divisional round to the San Francisco 49ers in 2013 and the Seattle Seahawks in 2014. The squad has only made the playoffs once since then, in 2017. Since the division’s inception in 2002, the team has won five NFC South titles, second only to the New Orleans Saints. Despite being a new franchise, the Panthers have a huge fanbase in the world. But fans have been waiting for the glory days and here we explain how the Panthers spend their money.
