Houston Texans Schedule 2022: Opponents, Dates, Times, TV Streams, and Final Record Predictions

The Houston Texans are on the upswing after a poor 4-13 season thanks to the hire of new head coach Lovie Smith and the selection of a great group of players in the 2022 draft. The greatest offseason change for the Texans happened far before the draft. Deshaun Watson was allowed to be traded at last.

Due to charges of sexual assault and misbehavior, the quarterback did not participate in any games during the 2021 NFL season. He has since left the team that picked him in 2017. The Texans had a 4-13 record last year, and considering the Jaguars made a number of enhancements while the Texans mostly relied on the draft, their record in 2022 may be much worse.

There won’t be many people watching the Texans’ games around the country either. This season, they don’t have any games in primetime, although they do face Philadelphia in Week 10 at 7:15 p.m. on Amazon Prime.

The Texans will play three straight AFC South contests to close up the season, all of which will take place on either January 7 or 8, as the league intends to combine two regular-season finales into a doubleheader on ESPN on January 7.

Houston Texans final record prediction

The Texans’ opponents posted a.488 percentage against them (141-148), which is 19th in the NFL. The AFC West is the worst opponent to deal with this season. There is no division with more talent. The Texans concluded the 2021 season surrendering the third-most yards per attempt in the league, yet it also has many of the NFL’s most effective passing attacks. Houston’s opponents in the NFC West in 2021 would have faced a considerably tougher division. We predict the Texans to finish the season with a 3-14 record.
