“Hey Man Don’t Do Me Like You Did That Costa Guy”- Israel Adesanya Reveals Backstage Interaction With Sean Strickland After Smacking His A**

Israel Adesanya will enter the octagon at UFC 276 ready to make his fifth title defense as he takes on Jared Cannonier in an epic matchup. The fight against ‘The Killa Gorilla’ is something Adesanya has been wanting for a long time and now has his chance to prove himself against a tough opponent.

The life of a champion is such that even before he has defended his title, opponents are queuing up to take what is his. It is no secret that if Adesanya wins the fight against Cannonier, his next fight will be against the winner of Strickland vs Pereira.

In the pre-fight press conference for UFC 276, both Strickland and Adesanya stole the show with their epic exchange of words. The exchange was started off by Strickland who made fun of Adesanya for just about everything from getting knocked out by Pereira to painting his nails and j**king off to cartoons.

In a recent interview after the weigh ins, Adesanya was asked if the exchanges with Sean Strickland annoyed him to which he responded saying, “It would have been boring without him to be honest. Not annoyed, I meant it, f**king Jeff was lacking, embedded was lacking, and Frans too was lacking there are so many f**king cameras around how do you miss me smacking him on the a**. He’s like ‘Oh hey man don’t do me like you did that Costa guy’ that is what he said and I said ‘we’ll see’.”
