Henry Cejudo’s Mentor Eric Albarracin Promises a Transition to ‘C4’ Status Upon His UFC Return
Famed coach Eric Albarracin spoke out on ‘The MMA Hour’ and expanded on the impending return of one of his star athletes. Henry Cejudo recently announced that he would be back in the USADA testing pool and he’s now made good on that promise.
‘Triple C’ is excited to make a comeback that could potentially make him the undisputed best fighter in the world if he comes back and dominates once again. Moreover, he would potentially become the first fighter in the history of the UFC to have become a three-division champion if he defeats Alexander Volkanovski at featherweight.

There is no doubt in ‘Captain’ Eric Albarracin’s mind that Henry Cejudo will become a historic athlete once he is cleared from USADA. Albarracin claimed that since Cejudo has been a high-level athlete right from college, making weight and checking all the boxes for a UFC return will be easy work.

“Triple C will officially become C4 this year. He is back in the USADA pool. He dove head first into it. You know, Henry comes from the Olympic training center, he’s being tested since he was a sophomore in high school. He’ll be good to go as soon as the USADA period of testing is done. He’ll be good to go.”
“He’s already in training. Henry never really stopped training. When Henry was coaching, it was awesome. He was there everyday and sometimes, you hear this as an athlete. When you become a coach, you become better but you’re still not in your prime. Henry’s still in his prime.”
Cejudo has put together a greatly impressive resume thus far, beating the likes of former champions Demetrious Johnson, T.J Dillashaw, and Dominick Cruz before walking away in May 2020. He now has an opportunity to pick up where he left off and possibly escalate his legacy to even greater heights.
What’s more, the former two-division UFC champion has the option of returning to either bantamweight or featherweight, leaving the door open to a plethora of exciting matches that fans can look forward to.
