Among his many noteworthy accomplishments over the course of his career have included leading the Miami Heat to TWO NBA Finals trips, launching his own coffee business during the 2020 NBA Bubble season, and being selected six times for the All-Star team.

Jimmy revealed to Claire de Lune in a Tuesday interview with The Guardian that he had written about 60 country songs for an album that will be issued at an unspecified later date.

“There’s so many people out there, and I’m one of them, that are like, ‘Man, I can do that,’ and you really don’t know how difficult it is to make a No. 1 song,” said Jimmy. “Humble yourself. It is incredibly fun, I’ve had a blast while doing it. But I will tell you that it’s not easy.”

The Miami Heat player was influenced by well-known producer and lifestyle expert DJ Khaled.

“(DJ Khaled) is a crazy talented individual,” Butler continued. To bring all these artists together and to have them be able to maintain the egos and be like, ‘Yo, look, this is what we’re trying to get done here,’ he’s mastered it.”

Fans of the Heat really hope Jimmy decides to stick with the game rather than pursue a career in music.
