The mother of Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, Lisa Wilson, appeared to endorse her son’s relationship with Nicolette Dellanno while subtly criticizing his former, Abbey Gile.

Dellanno, who has been connected to the Jets quarterback since the summer of 2022, spent the long Fourth of July weekend in Nashville with the Wilson family.

Lisa Wilson admired Dellanno’s chemistry with her family and how well-connected she seemed to her son in an Instagram story she shared.

Lisa Wilson captioned the image with “He found a good one this time,” adding a heart emoji. “So good to my boy and my entire family. Love you @nicolette_dellanno.” 

Dellanno had previously appeared on Wilson’s mother’s Instagram account.

Lisa Wilson shared a photo of Zach Wilson and Dellanno cuddling up to one another on a boat over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

The most recent tweet, though, seems to confirm Lisa Wilson’s approval of her son’s beau, who first appeared with Wilson on June 15, 2022, at a Yankees game.

Additionally, it appeared as though the mother of the signal-caller was taking aim at Gile, the ex-girlfriend who caused a stir online and among news outlets when she claimed the former first-round selection had slept with his mother’s best friend in an Instagram comment.

When the incident occurred, the Jets quarterback made light of it by writing on Instagram, “Took the boys to @gozzerranchclub in Idaho before camp! Poor cell service…what I miss?”

Gile and Wilson had been high school sweethearts, and she had been by his side when he was selected by New York as the second overall pick in 2021. However, by January 2022, the two had deleted each other from their social media accounts.

Gile later discovered a connection between Wilson and her best friend and former BYU teammate Dax Milne, which prompted her to make the complaint against Wilson, which was later taken down after a commenter called her a “homie hopper.”

Gile probably didn’t gain any favor with Lisa Wilson as a result of the series of incidents.
