Have Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs qualified for the playoffs in the 2022-23 NFL season?
The Kansas City Chiefs managed to get their 11th victory of the NFL season in Week 15 as they beat the Houston Texans 30-24 in overtime on Sunday. The win meant that the Chiefs topped the AFC West standings and clinched the divisional title as well.
Kansas City also booked their place in the playoffs as they reached an 11-3 record, one that cannot be overturned by another team in the division. Andy Reid’s team would have reached the playoffs even if they didn’t win any more of their regular season games since Week 15. However, a win over the Texans ensured that the Chiefs confirmed their place in the postseason.
Patrick Mahomes threw two touchdowns and added one rushing touchdown as well to see his team over the victory line on Sunday. The quarterback is looking menacing as ever and is dropping MVP performances regularly this season. He is already leading the league in passing yards and touchdowns as well.

Who will the Kansas City Chiefs face in their remaining games of the 2022-23 NFL season?
Kansas City Chiefs have been a middle-of-the-road D/ST so far this year.
But their remaining schedule…
Week 13: CIN (+0.5)
Week 14: DEN (+0.9)
Week 15: HOU (+2.6)
Week 16: SEA (+1.2)
Week 17: DEN (+0.9)Not a single bad matchup for the rest of the season.

After beating the Texans in Week 15, the Chiefs will now welcome the Seattle Seahawks to Arrowhead Stadium in Week 16. In Week 17, Kansas City will lock horns with Russell Wilson’s Denver Broncos who are already out of playoff contention.
In their final game of the NFL regular season, the Chiefs will square off against the Las Vegas Raiders. While the Chiefs have already made it into the playoffs they can take it easy in the next few games. However, Mahomes and the rest of the squad will be aware that the margin of error will be narrower in the postseason.
