Haskins reportedly lost his cool on June 22 when his fiancée “liked” a picture of another man on Instagram. After the dispute started, the victim claims she walked into a closet and tossed Haskins’ shoes to the floor.

According to the affidavit, Haskins replied by entering the closet, warning her not to touch his belongings, forcing her to the ground, and giving the victim a head injury. The woman claims that in an effort to defend herself, she kicked Haskins. The complaint claims that after pulling her from the closet, he placed her on top of a bed and began strangling her with both hands. She doesn’t know how long the strangulation lasted, but she informed authorities that she believes it lasted between 10 and 15 seconds.

After the strangling ceased, the victim continued to fight back, getting up and giving him a smack. She then received a smack from Haskins before being thrown to the ground and landing on a dog crate. Then he started to choke her once again. According to the woman, the incident came to an end when Haskins let her free and left the residence.

The Tennessean reports that Green provided police with pictures of scratches on the side of her neck, as well as bruises on her right arm and cheek.

According to ESPN, Haskins was detained on Thursday in Davidson County, Tennessee, but was later freed after posting a $10,000 bond.

According to several sites, Green was also detained and charged with aggravated assault by strangulation and criminal vandalism after posting a $7,500 bond.
