Hanna and Haley Cavinder Shared The Glimpses Of Their Successful 2023 Year.

Hanna Cavinder and Haley are thankful for the previous year.

The social media sensations looked back on a remarkable 2023 in an Instagram video that was shared on Saturday. The film featured the Miami Hurricanes’ Elite Eight run in the NCAA tournament and Haley’s unexpected comeback to collegiate basketball.

In the caption for the video, the Cavinders said, “One of the most specials years, so thankful for 2023.”

The 22-year-old siblings, who became well-known during the COVID-19 pandemic, announced at the end of March Madness that they would be leaving basketball to seek other pursuits.

“Miami, thank you for an unforgettable season,” the Cavinders started with a shared April social media post. “The love and support we received form the university and the city was special. We would like to thank our teammates and coaches for bringing us in as a family and being part of a historic season. With that being said, Hanna and I have decided to not take our fifth year and start a new chapter in our lives.

“The U will always be home and we are forever proud to be Hurricanes. Lastly, to everyone who has supported us through our basketball journey – we can’t thank you enough for all the love you gave each and every game. What started as us playing basketball 16 years ago, turned into something bigger than we could ever imagine.”

The Cavinder brothers debuted on WWE television in June as a member of NXT, two months after quitting the sport.

In December 2021, the sisters inked NIL contracts with WWE.

During the summer, the Cavinders started a podcast called “Twin Talk,” which is not affiliated with WWE.

However, Haley shocked everyone in October when she announced that she was going to play basketball again, concentrating on the 2024–25 campaign.

“It comes from a foundation of she misses basketball more than anything in the world and as it approaches another season, even more so. She is going to hop in the portal. She’s 100% making her return to college basketball,” Jeff Hoffman, Haley’s agent, revealed this to On3 Sports at the time.

It was in November that Haley declared her allegiance to the TCU Horned Frogs.

She at the moment uploaded a photo to Instagram titled “The Last Rodeo.”
