Green Bay Packers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 3 2022: TV Coverage, Live Scores, Odds Lines, Spreads, and Predictions

Game Preview

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers (1-1) hit the road again to take on Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0). The Packers come into this game on the back of a 27-10 win over the Chicago Bears. Rodgers was 19-for-25 for 234 yards, with two TDs and no INTs, versus the Bears. Brady and his men, on the other hand, have been brilliant and have secured wins against the likes of the Saints and the Cowboys.

The Buccaneers will be without several key players this game week. Mike Evans is currently serving a one-game suspension, which means he won’t play against the Packers. Julio Jones and Chris Godwin are both suffering from hamstring injuries and will most likely not be playing this week either.

Green Bay Packers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Predictions

Final Score Prediction: Packers: 20 | Buccaneers: 32

The Bucs are extremely sound defensively, they have a defense that’s surrendering a league-best 6.5 points per game. Mike Evans will be a big miss for the Bucs as he is the only receiver over 100 receiving yards (132) through two games, and he leads the team in receptions with eight. Thankfully, smart signings in the off-season have helped the Bucs bolster their receiving corps.

Given that the Packers, biggest weakness is defending the rush, Leonard Fournette might see a lot of action coming his way just as it did in the first game week against the Cowboys whom he totaled 127 rushing yards. Overall, despite the injuries, the Bucs are a more well-rounded team than the Packers with a lot more depth and should be able to make it a perfect 3-0 start to the season.
