Gracie Hunt Prayed For Maui and Lahaina On Her Instagram By Posting A Bikini Picture, Asked Her Fans To Help The Affected Ones

Gracie Hunt, who spent some time in Hawaii during the winter, wanted to help Maui and Lahaina in the wake of the horrific wildfires that ravaged the island. She then posted a photo of herself in a bikini along with a touching message and a request for her fans to provide a helpful hand.

The Chiefs heiress did want for this to catch people’s attention, even though she is not going so far as to promise to send nudes to those who donate to aid the victims of the wildfires. The article successfully accomplished this.

In her statement, Gracie stated:

“I am heartbroken by the devastating images coming out of Maui and Lahaina over the last week. Hawaii is a national treasure, made better by the amazing heart of the Hawaiian people.”

She continued, “Join me in prayer for the people of Hawaii, and the families that have lost loved ones, homes and more, and for those on the front lines working tirelessly to make a difference. The resilience of the Hawaiian people is legendary, but this tragedy will take time and resources to rebuild from.

“Here’s a way you can help if you can, among other organizations bringing help and hope: WorldVision.org (http://WorldVision.org) or SamaritansPurse.org (http://SamaritansPurse.org).”

Numerous Ways Exist To Show Support

Not everyone was happy with how Gracie chose to deliver her encouraging message. Some people in the comment section questioned her decision to use a bikini photo to go with the moving message about the Maui wildfires.

One commentator went a step further and questioned her request for financial support from others. Gracie didn’t answer the majority of the comments, but she did this one.

That particular comment was, “Lol you say a prayer yet you want others to donate $$$.”

Gracie clarifies that in order to go forward. She replied, “I’d never ask someone to donate to a cause that I haven’t supported myself.”

You really can’t fault her for not feeling the need to defend her decision to utilize a bikini to disseminate the message.

She is here trying to help those in need and do the right thing. Even though she just so happened to convey her point with a bikini photo, it won’t do any harm.
