Micah Parsons speaks about Tom Brady ahead of Bucs game

“We got to get him out of this league,” Parsons said of Tom Brady, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota.

“He’s been dominating this league too long. … He wants to kill you. He wants to step on your throat like you’re a roach.”

“I’ve seen the Hulk get beat up. I’ve seen Thor get beat up. I’ve seen Captain America get beat up. But they always get back up and find a way to get to their destination,” Parsons said. “[Brady] gets beat up, but he gets back up.”

However, Parsons went one step farther by likening Brady to well-known Marvel superheroes. Brady won seven Lombardi Trophies with the Buccaneers and the New England Patriots, five Super Bowl MVPs, three league MVPs, and 15 Pro Bowl selections altogether on his résumé.

Brady has never lost in six career games against the Cowboys, the longest active winning streak of any quarterback against Dallas. Parsons and the rest of the Cowboys’ defensive front seven will serve as the initial test to determine whether blocking will be Brady’s downfall starting in 2022, given the uncertainty along the Bucs’ offensive line.

After Dallas finished 12-5 and won the NFC East in 2021, the Buccaneers and Cowboys maybe two of the NFC’s top Super Bowl prospects.
