After playing undergraduate golf at the University of Kentucky and turning pro in 2006, J.B. Holmes has won five times on the PGA Tour.

His most recent victory came at the 2019 Genesis Open when he edged Justin Thomas by one shot and won $1,332,000. When he was at his peak, J.B. Holmes was a household name on the PGA Tour and the 14th-ranked golfer in the world according to the OWGR rankings.

Only two of the four members of the four-man team might have plus handicaps according to the rules.

After the first day, Holmes’ team had the lead among the 22 teams, but on the second day, the owner saw Holmes’ swing, and he was beaten.

Could we simply take a moment to reflect on why it took so long? Holmes was one of the longest hitters in his prime.

French stated that although Holmes’ squad was no longer qualified to play for prize money, they were still permitted to fight for the trophy.

In accordance with the report on Monday Q, J.B. Holmes’ team had the lead after Day 1 of the Calcutta and was in position to win $21,000 on Day 2 ($21K to first, $9K to second). However, the narrative claims that on the third hole of the second round, the club owner saw J.B. Holmes’ golf swing. His brief backswing is easily recognized.

On the leaderboard, it seems like their names were crossed out. ‘Flights’ were used to divide up the competition.

The crowd is alleged to have jeered when Holmes’ departure was announced during the banquet following the championship. Some allegedly chanted “BS!”

Hilariously, Holmes later took to social media to post a picture of the trophy.

“I did play scrabble under my real name…..John Bradley. It was bring your best team….. and we had the best team,” he wrote.
