“Going to Tell You What Got Us the Chemistry”: Kansas City Chiefs Brutally Troll Kyler Murray By Crediting the Win to a Video Game

In Super Bowl LIV, the Chiefs defeated the 49ers with ease. They repeated it on Sunday in the marquee game of the Week 7 afternoon schedule, a rematch against San Francisco on West Coast turf. In the cross-conference match, Patrick Mahomes showed himself to be the more reliable big-play creator, distributing the ball well as Andy Reid’s team cruised to a 44-23 victory. After the victory, the Chiefs are now openly making fun of Kyler Murray.

JuJu Smith-Schuster was questioned about Patrick Mahomes’ apparent increased faith in the passing game following Week 7’s victory against the 49ers. The development appears to have taken place while the four teammates were playing online video games off the field.

Kansas City Chiefs mock Kyler Murray with video game dig

Smith-Schuster claims that his friendship with quarterback Patrick Mahomes was developed while the two were working out in Dallas over the offseason.

“I’m going to tell you what got us the chemistry that we needed this game,” Smith-Schuster told reporters. “I think it was Friday night. It was me, Pat, Travis and MVS [that were] were playing ‘Call of Duty.’ We were playing ‘Warzone.’ We played three games — and we won three games back-to-back.”

Kyler Murray is known for his love of video games, which is why his new contract included a homework provision. This summer, we have been hearing about this devotion constantly. Kyler sort of fails on Call of Duty weekends, according to the statistics that we reviewed. Now that they have defeated the 49ers, JuJu Smith-Schuster is attributing their victory to the game.

Mahomes and his teammates should have more time to visit Rebirth Island once more and earn another victory as the Chiefs go onto their bye week. For NFL defenders, it will be awful news if Sunday is any indication.
