GM Steve Keim Was Warned By Nick Bosa About Hiring Kyler Murray
With the first overall choice in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Cardinals selected Kyler Murray, while the 49ers selected Nick Bosa. Before that draft, Bosa warned the Cardinals they were making a mistake.
According to the previous general manager of the Cardinals, Steve Keim, the team saw Bosa as the finest overall talent in that draft.

“Nick Bosa and I had dinner together in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, before the draft when Kliff Kingsbury and I went to meet players and had dinner there. and, clearly, adored him. Our board member has the highest grade. Absolutely amazing,” Keim told Colin Cowherd.
The Cardinals picked Kyler Murray with the first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, while the 49ers selected Nick Bosa. Bosa told the Cardinals they were making a mistake before that pick.

Bosa was regarded by the Cardinals as the best overall prospect in the draft, according to Steve Keim, the team’s former general manager.

He literally puts Kliff Kingsbury and I in a headlock by wrapping his arm over both of us, Keim said. “And he said, ‘I think you guys are going to end up taking that little quarterback, and if you do,’ he looked over at me and said, ‘Steve, I will haunt you for the rest of your career.’”
The NFL’s reigning defensive player of the year, Bosa, is still a threat to opposing quarterbacks even though Keim’s tenure as a general manager is finished.
