Get To Know Nicole Lynn: The Agent Behind Jalen Hurts Record Breaking $255M Deal
Jalen Hurts created NFL history on Monday when he signed a record five-year, $255 million contract, making him the highest-paid player in the league. Nicole Lynn, who served as his agent, closed the sale.
Her desire to assist her consumers isn’t only financial, though. She would rather change their lives for the better.
The contract contains $179.3 million in guaranteed money and a no-trade clause that will keep Hurts with the Philadelphia Eagles through 2028 after he guided the team to Super Bowl 57.
Since the outset of the quarterback’s NFL career, Lynn has been at his side.
“So happy for my little bro @jalenhurts on becoming the highest-paid player in NFL history!” Lynn wrote Monday on Instagram. “Thank you for trusting me with something of this magnitude. I remember sitting in your old high school and interviewing to be your agent. I am a dreamer, but I’m not sure I could have ever imagined THIS is where we land.”

How Did Lynn First Meet Hurts?
This is the origin story behind the successful Agent- player relationship that today we see Jalen Hurts getting a $225M deal and the convincing credit goes to Nicole Lynn.
Jalen Hurts viewed his Instagram messages after playing his final collegiate game for Oklahoma in January 2020. One of them was from NFL agent Nicole Lynn: “Hey, have you picked an agent? If not, I’d love to link.”
Hurts saw it; he was still looking for an agency. “I wanted to hear her out,” he says now.
Hurts claims in “People had doubts about me” “People are still sceptical of me.”
Congrats to Jalen Hurts for becoming the highest paid player in NFL history and his agent Nicole Lynn for negotiating.

Hurts was expected to be selected in the mid-to-late stages of the draught, preferably in the second or later rounds, despite having won a national title and being one of the finest college quarterbacks in the game as a dual-threat both via the air and on the ground; he was selected 53rd. “He’s just not the guy,” one analyst said, summing up the way most of the football world seemed to view him.
“That turns me up,” Hurts says. “It lights a fire in me. It does something to me, because I know I’ll prove you wrong. But I saw that same fire in Nicole. She said, ‘I’m a woman. People are going to overlook me. People are going to doubt me. They’re not going to give me the due respect. But I’m overcoming it, just like you do.’ And that’s where we really hit it off. We had the same vision.”
Nicole Lynn sent Jalen Hurts a "hail mary" Instagram DM after his college career ended:
"Hey, have you picked an agent? If not, I'd love to link."
Hurts then signed with her, and Lynn has now made him the highest-paid player in NFL history (5-yr, $255M).

Hurts cared about her résumé, her experience and how he trusted her. He thought: What the hell else mattered? “People are going to doubt her because she’s a woman in this industry,” he says. “There was a sense of doubt. Why is she doing this? Can she represent a quarterback? What’s she going to do with him?”
Hurts employed ladies to manage his life around football as he started creating the foundation for his profession. The first step was picking Lynn as his representative.

As Hurts finished his NCAA football career with the Sooners, there were concerns about his likelihood of success in the NFL. Nicole Lynn, though, made a last-ditch effort by DMing Hurts on Instagram.
If the Heisman Trophy candidate for 2019 already has an agent, she questioned. Hurts finally agreed to a contract, and the rest is history.
At the pinnacle of her career, Lynn will never forget the adversity that made her resilient.
Eagles and Jalen Hurts reached agreement on a five-year, $255 million extension, including $179.304 million guaranteed, per source.
