His performance in this season up until now was not really impressive and he said he is working on it.

He just had a troubled expression, which spectators could clearly observe.
“I don’t want to block them out,” Lindor said. “They are expressing their frustration, and I hear them. I am right there with them. I just have to get better.”
Francisco Lindor, whose talent is above average but whose offensive output thus far has been fairly average, was the first on the list of Mets concerns.

With 60 games played, Lindor had a.688 OPS, which ranked him 26th out of 48 shortstops with at least 50 plate appearances.
But it seems he worked on it and some luck played a great role it the recent win.
Today, Francisco Lindor is the father of two daughters. The baby, Amapola Chloé, was born on Sunday to the New York Mets player and his wife Katia, the couple revealed on Instagram. Their 2-year-old daughter Kalina is their first child.

On Father’s Day, Lindor hit a home run in the first inning. The amazing event was caught on video, and Katia uploaded it as an Instagram Story, attributing it to her husband’s “Girl dad power.”
The Mets shortstop’s suddenly blazing bat may have any number of causes, but the most entertaining one was the one he delivered with a smile.
The two days earlier born daughter of Lindor, “Amapola,” has “brought me a couple of hits,” he stated on Monday.

After a tremendous night in the 11-1 series-opening victory against the Astros at Minute Maid Park, her father is 3-for-8 with two home runs since Amapola Chloé was born.
Lindor has started to resemble the player who was nominated for MVP last year after hitting a three-run home bomb on Father’s Day and then adding five runs batted in the following day, including one that effectively put the game out of reach.
