Former NBA Star Dwight Howard’s Sexual Assault Report Is Out, Denies Allegations

Records that ESPN’s Baxter Holmes was able to get show that Howard was charged with sexually abusing Stephen Harper in July 2021 at his house. One of Howard’s attorneys, Justin Bailey, released a statement saying the sexual encounter was consensual.

According to information received by RadarOnline.com, a third guy called “Kitty Sankofa” is also reported to have been a suspect in the complaint, which was submitted almost a year to the day after the incident and released by Radar Online. Harper names himself in the report as the NBA champion’s ex-boyfriend.

Harper was invited to Howard’s Georgia residence in May 2021 after they had flirted with one another on Instagram, where they had intercourse.

After that, Howard is reported to have left the room and come back carrying a guy posing as a woman, named “Kitty.”

After that, the claimant claims the former NBA star made him feel uncomfortable by engaging in oral sex without getting his permission. He allegedly stopped when he saw Harper wasn’t into it. According to reports, the incident made Harper to tears.

The sexual contact was consensual, according to a statement made by Justin Bailey, one of Howard’s attorneys.
“What was a private consensual encounter was made public for profit and Mr. Howard looks forward to bringing the truth to light in a court of law,” Bailey told ESPN. “The allegations against Mr. Howard are contested. Mr. Howard intends to present the truth. The truth is Mr. Howard blocked Mr. Harper on social media and then was confronted with two options—pay to protect his reputation or have a fabricated story made public. Despite being an easy target due to the subject matter and his status as a celebrity, Mr. Howard chose to trust in the justice system and will rely on all future court filings to speak for themselves.”

During the height of his 18-year professional career, the 37-year-old Howard was an eight-time All Star, a three-time defensive player of the year, and one of the NBA’s most imposing centers.

He played for seven different teams, the most notable of which were the Los Angeles Lakers, who he won his only NBA championship with during the pandemic-affected 2019–20 season, and the Orlando Magic, who selected him with the first overall pick in the 2004 draft out of Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy.

Howard spent three distinct spells with the Lakers, the latest of which was in 2021–2022. Over his career, he has led the league in rebounds five times, averaging 15.7 points and 11.8 rebounds a game.
