“F**king So Stupid” – Joe Rogan Slams ESPN Over Cocaine and Extortion Scheme Scandal Involving John Skipper
Host of the podcast Joe Rogan was shocked to find that former ESPN executive John Skipper left his 27-year employment due to a cocaine addiction and an extortion scheme. Prior to his resignation in December 2017 due to a drug addiction issue, Skipper served as President of ESPN. Dramatically, it was discovered that Skipper was the target of an extortion scheme carried out by his purported dealer. Joe Rogan was perplexed to find this week that John Skipper, the former president of ESPN, had infamously left his position due to cocaine addiction in 2017.
The creator of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy, spoke on the most recent edition of The Joe Rogan Experience and briefly discussed his tumultuous history with ESPN throughout the podcast’s more than three hours long runtime.

“I don’t know who that is,” Rogan said. “He had to leave ESPN because of a coke dealer? That’s f*cking so stupid, the guy was doing coke.”
“I think in that world, you can’t even admit you did coke,” Rogan continued. “It’s a stupid world. It’s a stupid world where you have to pretend to be a fake person.”

When Skipper unexpectedly quit ESPN almost six years ago, he gave a drug usage reason, shocking the whole world. Later, he came clean and admitted that what eventually compelled him to withdraw was an extortion attempt. Skipper said an extortion attempt caused his resignation many months later.

Although Skipper said that he quit his job and wasn’t fired, it has always been puzzling why he and Disney couldn’t agree on a leave of absence to concentrate on his medical care, especially when he became the executive chairman of DAZN six months after leaving ESPN. The majority of those in positions of authority, according to Joe Rogan, are dishonest individuals.
