Five Things You Did Not Know About Ex-NBA Champion Harrison Barnes
Harrison Barnes won his first and only championship with Golden State Warriors and currently plays for Sacramento Kings. It is well-known that Harrison Barnes was a member of the American national team in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, where they earned the gold medal. In eight games, he scored 4.3 points and grabbed 2.1 rebounds each. Prior to being picked by the Golden State Warriors as the seventh overall choice in the first round of the 2012 NBA draft, he played collegiate basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels.
In the class of 2010, Harrison Barnes was ranked as the best player. Before completing his high school education, Barnes earned nine AP credits. He participated in the 2010 Jordan Brand Classic when he and Kyrie Irving shared the MVP honors.

Harrison Barnes abstains from alcohol as well; he drank for the first time following the 2015 NBA Finals victory. Before the game, Barnes informed the media that if the squad were to win the title, he would be ready to break his abstinence from alcohol in order to rejoice with his teammates.

Married to Brittany Johnson
Just over a year after becoming engaged in August 2016, Harrison Barnes, 25, and fiancée Brittany Johnson were married. On Saturday, July 29, the pair held their wedding ceremony in Newport, Rhode Island, in front of a large number of friends and relatives.

High school honored him by naming gym and basketball court after him
Harrison Barnes’ former high school honoured him on September 15, 2022, by dedicating the gym and basketball court at the new high school in his honour and inducting him into the institution’s Hall of Fame in recognition of his professional accomplishments and contributions to the community.
Known as Mr. Basketball
Harrison Barnes received the 2010 Mr. Basketball USA honour, given by Ballislife.com to the top boy’s high school basketball player in the nation, following his last year in high school.
