First Stephan, now Gilbert Arenas commented on Zion Williamson’s relationship with a porn star

Gilbert Arenas’ response to the ongoing situation involving Zion Williamson is evidence that he probably shouldn’t be giving counsel to young guys.

Following a gender reveal with another lady, the New Orleans Pelicans player received a public scolding from porn star Moriah Mills. This has caused severe social media mayhem for the player.

On her social media pages, Mills posted multiple texts that she claimed were sent by the NBA player. Stephen A. Smith chipped in with a fairly sane opinion about how all you need is intelligence. It is entirely correct to quote the ESPN personality when she noted that “you can’t always police” what other people do.

Gilbert Arenas was unfortunate since his perspective was much less complex.

Gilbert Arenas provides the worst Zion Williamson analysis ever

The former NBA player believes Zion Williamson is simply doing what he does, rather than putting everything out like Stephen A. and evaluating the good against the negative. He tweeted “Live ya best life, Zion Williamson” along with a video demonstrating how the Pelicans star is actually smarter than everyone making fun of him.

“Ja Morant in the strip club paying $50,000. Zion has in-house entertainment from his girl. You can’t get no better than that. He at home watching TV and he like, ‘Babe! Babe! Come on,’” Arenas said as he started to throw cash around.

The former Washington Wizards star continued, “All the NBA players laughing at the man, when you go to the strip club spending hundreds of thousands and he has it all in the crib. ‘Hey, babe, shake it for daddy real quick.’ Why didn’t I think of that? Hey, ladies, if you all stripping, you all see I got ones on deck. Come on to the crib. I don’t have to leave the house.”

It’s important to note that when Arenas talks about tossing money on a woman in Zion’s home, it’s not precisely apparent to whom he is addressing. Mills or someone else, then? In either case, it’s strange.

Arenas, whatta disgusting advice you’ve given

This is awful for a number of reasons. First and foremost, there is nothing wrong with extending an invitation to friends you wish to spend time with.

Do we really want to promote young millionaires with massive platforms inviting arbitrary ladies over so they can shower them with cash, though? Is that actually a wise decision? Do we want to give young guys that advice?

What possibly could go wrong? First off, what happens if they decide against leaving? What if they turn out to be psychotic and discover your location and home’s layout? However, Arenas, take off now!

Second, Arenas gives the impression that you may give money to women and then demand it back. Although I’m not a specialist in those kinds of trades, that doesn’t seem like sound reasoning. Zion is expected to make it rain before requesting his money back at the end of the night, then. I wish you luck in that.

Safety can be found in numbers.

Thirdly, and this is uncomfortable but true, a strip club offers a level of safety that your home cannot. Do you know why Las Vegas hotels advise guests not to hire prostitutes and bring them to their rooms? If things go wrong, there isn’t anything that can be done to safeguard you. That is precisely what happened to a man who was recently killed in Las Vegas. If a dozen people show up when you are making it rain, there isn’t much you can do unless you have privacy protection. There is safety in numbers and you are at least at a strip club where there is security.

It’s interesting how far apart Stephen A. and Arenas’ perspectives are from one another. You cannot police what people do, as the ESPN anchor pointed out properly. You have no control once they exit the building with videos or images. His sage counsel.

Williamson is the target of Arenas’ amazing and bizarre advice.

As Matt Araiza and I discussed in our article, something is not necessarily dumb just because it is not unlawful. It’s incredibly unwise to engage in dangerous sexual behavior with somebody you don’t truly know, especially those who don’t have nearly as much to lose. The dumbest thing you can do is invite women around so you can sling money around. Simply develop better decision-making skills, and you’ll experience fewer problems in life.
