Fantasy NBA: DFS Lineups for Thursday, January 06

Another Thursday slate of NBA games provides us with more opportunities to earn some extra money through DFS NBA fantasy, and we’re here to help you build a winning lineup to get some extra cash.

We have four NBA games on January 06, with superstars Stephen Curry, Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum and Ja Morant, all slated to play. Make sure to check out our DFS Fantasy lineup optimizer to maximize your chances of winning.

Here are some suggestions for your NBA DFS Fantasy lineups on Thursday, January 06:

Guards

Ja Morant (MEM): Ja is the main player on a Grizzlies offense that is one of the best in the whole league, and the Pistons are definitely not good, especially on defense – they allowed 140 points to the Charlotte Hornets in their last game.

We expect this game to be a high-scoring contest and for Memphis to get on a roll offensively. They’re one of the biggest surprises in the NBA this season, amassing a 6-game win streak that includes triumphs against the Suns and the Lakers. Ja has scored 30 points in 4 of his last 5 games. I’d expect this trend to continue.

DK: $9,200 / FD: $10,200

Devin Booker (PHO): Booker is the superstar to go along Morant, raising his point average to almost 30 over his last five games. The Clippers are a team that’s been struggling this season, and Booker registered 12 baskets over 24 attempts against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday to go along 9 rebounds.

Reliable as always, Booker represents amazing value with his price just under $9,000 in both DraftKings and FanDuel. You can’t keep him out of your fantasy lineup.

DK: $8,700 / FD: $8,800

Forwards

Brandon Clarke (MEM): Clarke, like Morant, can put up huge numbers because of the matchup that presents for the Grizzlies, but at the same time you have to be careful of the possibility of a blowout. Nevertheless, he’s been consistently shooting over .600 in his last few games, with a 15.3 point average in his last three outings.

On Thursday, won’t find better value at DraftKings for this price. It’s a playable bet even on FanDuel, especially if you consider how Clarke is trending up recently.

DK: $4,400 / FD: $5,600

Trey Lyles (DET): Okay, we bashed the Pistons above, and there’s the possibility of a blowout that would limit Lyles’ minutes. But why wouldn’t you trust him? Even on a bad team, he’s putting up interesting numbers: at least 13 points over his last four games to go with 6.7 average rebounds.

Lyles is not a superstar, but he provides great opportunities with his salary. Depending on who you combine him with, he can be a surprise that helps your team massively.

DK: $5,000 / FD: $4,900

Center

Steven Adams (MEM): The veteran completes the trio of Memphis players that you should have in your fantasy lineup for Thursday, as the potential for a double-double against the Pistons is strong.

Combining him with Clarke gives you a fantastic duo on DraftKings for less than $10K, especially with Adams with over 10 rebounds in 4 of his last 5 games. Expect him to repeat the double-digits on Thursday – that’s a massive value play.

DK: $5,400 / FD: $5,400
