Fantasy Football Offensive Rankings & Projections Week 2 : NFL 2022

Game week one of the 2022 NFL season is officially in the books and it is safe to say we’re in for a great season ahead. The very first game week had in store for us brilliant offensive and defensive displays, injuries, controversies, and shock upsets. As is the case with the start of every new NFL season, fans are gearing up for another season of fantasy football.

Today we take a look at the top-five highest-scoring offensive players in the first game week and offer insights into who they will be facing next.

Josh Allen 

Buffalo Bills started off the season with a win over defending champions Los Angles Rams in what was a brilliant offensive display led and orchestrated by Josh Allen. The signal-caller went 26-of-31 for 297 passing yards. Allen added 56 rushing yards on ten carries. He started off the season in style with four total touchdowns. He scored 25.43 points in game week one. 

Patrick Mahomes 

Patrick Mahomes and his men absolutely demolished the Arizona Cardinals in their first match of the season, the game ended 44-21. Mahomes went 30 for 39 with 360 yards, with the five TDs and no interceptions. He scored 23.78 points in the first game week. 

Justin Herbert 

The Chargers started off their season with a win over the Raiders. The game ended 24-19. Justin Herbert completed 26 of 34 passes for 279 yards and three touchdowns. Herbert ended the first game week with 22.96. The Chargers will take on the Chiefs in the second game week of the 2022 NFL season. 

Kyler Murray 

Murray is the first quarterback on the list whose team did not win the opening game of the season. The Cardinals took on the Chiefs and were shredded to pieces. Murray went 22 for 34 with 193 yards and two touchdowns and scored 22.53 fantasy points. The Cardinals face the Raiders next weekend in game week two. 

Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson started the first game of what could be his last season at the Ravens with a win against the Jets, the game ended 24-9. Jackson went 17 of 30 for 213 yards, including a TD to finish the game and secure 22.39 fantasy points for his team captains. The take on the Miami Dolphins next week.
