Fantasy Football ‘League Winners’ And ‘Bust’: NFC East
Here are a couple of players from the NFC East who you need to be aware of, they could possibly be league winners or league losers for your fantasy football team in 2023.
League Winners:
– Saquon Barkley ADP: RB3
Now that Barkley has resigned in New York, there is zero risk of him potentially sitting out. Last year Barkley finished as the RB5 in fantasy football. Now this year i am not a fan of taking a RB in the first round unless its Christian McCaffery, but if you are able to get Saquon in the Second round along with an elite pass catcher like Kelce or Hill, you are set up for victory, as you will have 2 players with the ability to finish as the the #1 player in their position group. The Giants ran the 4th most play action across the NFL last year, and I wouldn’t be surprised if those numbers are elevated this year due to the addition of Darren Waller. More Play action equals more Saquon Barkley involvement, which equals more fantasy points for Barkley.

– D’Andre Swift ADP: RB24
D’Andre Swift is the new lead back for the Philadelphia Eagles, and we all know how Miles Sanders played last year behind that Eagles O-Line. Sanders finished with over 1,200 yards on the ground and finished as the RB15 in fantasy. I believe that Swift has a better skillset than Sanders and he can be more productive than Sanders was. If you are able to grab Swift in the 6th round, take a shot on him. The only concern i pose with Swift is that he is prone to injuries, for that reason if you are able to snag Rashaad Penny later in the draft, do so as well.
Fantasy Bust:
Dak Prescott ADP: QB10
Although many of the INTs Dak threw last year weren’t his fault, he still lead he league in INTs and that isn’t a risk i would be willing to take again on Dak, especially at the QB10 Spot. There are so many better valued QBs you can get later in the draft such as Geno Smith, who i am a major fan on in 2023. Smith is in a better offense then Dak and he is the QB15, you can get him almost 50 picks later than Dak. Dak is still a great QB but he isn’t a player i would be willing to take a pick on so early in the draft while their is still so much more reliable talent. Besides most RBs on the board in rounds 4-6th have very high upside and you would be a fool not to take a chance on one of them.
