Fantasy Football IDP Defensive Rankings & Projections Week 5 : NFL 2022

In the blink of an eye, we’re four game weeks into the 2022 NFL season and slowly but surely, the cream is starting to rise to the top. A few teams, as well as players, have started to separate themselves from the pack and are putting in strong performances to be considered for end-of-the-season honors. Today, we take a look at the best-performing defensive players from a fantasy point of view and share which team they will be facing next.

Aidan Hutchinson 

Hutchinson featured in his team’s 48-45 win over the Seattle Seahawks. In the game, Hutchinson had five tackles to his name and secured 15.55 fantasy points for his team manager. This is the first time that Hutchinson has featured in the top five. Next up for Hutchinson and the Lions are the New England Patriots. 

T.J Edwards 

T.J Edwards featured in his team’s 29-21 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Edwards had six tackles and one sack to his name in the game. His team is currently the only unbeaten team in the league and they take on the Arizona Cardinals next week in a bid to make it a 5-0 start to the season. Edwards scored 15.09 fantasy points for his performance against the Jaguars. 

Devin Lloyd 

Lloyd featured in his team’s 29-21 loss against the all-conquering Philadelphia Eagles. In the game, Lloyd had 14 tackles to his name. He scored 14.4 fantasy points and next up for the Eagles are the Houston Texans in the 2022 NFL season. 

C.J Mosley

C.J Mosley is making it a habit of featuring in the top five every week. The New York Jets man had 14 tackles to his name against the Steelers and scored 14.24 fantasy points this game week. Next up for Jets are the Miami Dolphins in game week five of the 2022 NFL season. 

Foyesade Oluokun 

NFL

Oluokun is one of the highest-scoring defensive players far this season in the league. He featured in his team’s loss against the Eagles and had 16 tackles to his name in the game. Oluokun walked away with 14.03 fantasy point to his name and his team take on the Houston Texans next in game week five of the 2022 NFL season
