Le’Veon Bell hasn’t played in the NFL in a few years, but he wanted NFL teams to know that his talents are still available.

The former Steeler, Jet, Chief, Raven, and Buccaneer shared a video on X in which he pitched possible NFL suitors.
“Hold up, y’all,” Bell recently said in a video posted to the platform. “Do y’all see how strong your boy is? Bruh. Your boy is strong.”

“I can take about 20 carries right now,” he added in the caption.
“Bruh, your boy is strong,” he said to wrap up the ten-second clip, which was accompanied by the caption I can take about 20 carries right now.

If I’ve ever heard a social media elevator pitch for an NFL job, this is it. And I’m sure I’ve heard them before. It was all the rage last year, with Terrell Owens, Chad Johnson, and Dez Bryant all offering their services at various points throughout the year.
Le’Veon Bell was one of the top running backs in the NFL during his time with the Steelers. While he was neither the fastest or most explosive athlete, his amazing patience and outstanding ability to accelerate and decelerate made him a nightmare for opposing teams.

Bell’s request comes at a time when numerous running backs have been injured this season, most notably the New York Giants’ Saquon Barkley and the Cleveland Browns’ Nick Chubb, who is slated to miss the rest of the season.
The previous paragraph mentioned that in 2018, Le’Veon Bell turned down a five-year, $70 million contract deal from the Pittsburgh Steelers. His asking price was $17 million per year, which was greater than the team’s offer.

The 4 p.m. deadline for discussing long-term contracts with franchise tag players expired, but the two parties disagreed. Bell did not sign the tag and hence did not play in the 2018 NFL season. In retrospect, it was a bad move because his career has never been the same since.
