Fans Harassed Olivia Dunne When She Went To Attend Her Boyfriend’s Debut Game. Paul Skenes Is Upset By This Event

Paul Skenes, a highly regarded MLB prospect, talks candidly about dating Olivia Dunne.

After weeks of online rumors, Skenes, who was selected first overall by the Pittsburgh Pirates and is currently competing in the minor levels, confirmed that he was dating the well-known LSU gymnast earlier this week.

At one of his Single-A games in Bradenton, Dunne was most recently spotted alone in a sky box suite.

Dunne reportedly spent time in the suite because Skenes found it upsetting that she was being disturbed by fans.

According To Pittsburgh Post Gazette

“I do wish she could come to a baseball game and just enjoy it,” he added. “It does irk me. I don’t have any control over it. She really doesn’t either. I’m sure it’ll get better as I go up levels, but that’s something I want for her.”

Skenes’ comments were likely rooted in what happened to Dunne at LECOM Park when Paul made his affiliated-ball debut on Tuesday night. Dunne was originally in the seats behind home plate but wound up watching from the broadcast booth when fan harassment became too much

Dunne has expressed how challenging it is for her to go about her regular life. Dunne claimed that she stopped attending classes at LSU last month for “safety reasons.”

Dunne will hopefully experience less abuse from supporters once Skenes is promoted to the majors.
