Fans Chanted Loudly “Fire Matt Canada” During The Bye Week
This was the last straw for many who wanted offensive coordinator Matt Canada dismissed.
The many ideas had been explored all week. Will the Steelers ultimately dismiss Canada if they were blasted out by the Baltimore Ravens, even if it is in-season because they have the bye week to smooth out any kinks?

Will the Steelers be able to persuade themselves that they are in good enough shape at 3-2 and atop the AFC North if they win but show no evidence of offensive improvement?
A "Fire [Matt] Canada" chant erupted during the Pittsburgh Penguins game tonight.
Here's the thing: #Penguins have 3 players on their roster from Canada, while the #Blackhawks (opponents) have 13 Canadian players. Probably some confusion there on the ice. pic.twitter.com/tD2bQXRJ24

That’s exactly what occurred on Sunday at Acrisure Stadium. The Steelers won 17-10 over the Ravens. The offence didn’t look great while doing it. However, it made a key play near the conclusion of the game.
There are 11 days until the Steelers return to the field, but Pittsburgh sports fans didn’t waste any time in calling for the Steelers coach’s dismissal, with shouts of “Fire Canada” ringing out during the Penguins’ 4-2 loss to the Blackhawks.

The cries may have perplexed Penguins and Blackhawks players, many of whom are Canadian.
The cries were caught by WPXI sports reporter Jenna Harner during the second period, with the Pens leading 1-0.
“Fire Canada” has become a rallying cry for disgruntled Steelers supporters unhappy with the team’s underperforming offence.

The Steelers are 3-2 after five weeks of the NFL season, but they have a bye this week.
The Steelers’ next game is against the Rams in Week 7 at Los Angeles.
“There aren’t many people in this city like Matt Canada right now.” “Probably the most despised person in the city,” The Athletic’s Mark Kaboly remarked Tuesday on “The Pat McAfee Show.” “Which is unfortunate to say. It’s a person attempting to perform his job, but it hasn’t yielded any results.”

I feel sorry for the man at this point. He’s the punchline of every joke in Pittsburgh right now, and everyone wishes he wasn’t working. While I harbor no ill feelings against Canada, I agree that the Steelers do need to move on at this point.
