Fans Are Calling Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes ‘Fat’ On Twitter: Why The Body Shaming?

After seeing a snapshot of Patrick Mahomes that appeared to show him gaining weight after winning the Super Bowl earlier this year, NFL fans went crazy on social media.

After competing against Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57, the quarterback claimed the second championship of his career in February. So when the Kansas City Chiefs call him in for training camp, he could be taking it extremely easy before he needs to return to work.

Fans Are Calling Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes ‘Fat’ On Twitter: Why The Body Shaming?

Dante Moore, a quarterback for UCLA, shared a picture of himself on Instagram between Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and Trey Lance. In the picture, Mahomes could be seen.

“Looks like Patrick Mahomes, Trey Lance and UCLA QB Dante Moore have been getting some work in together in Los Angeles,” NFL reporter wrote on Twitter, where he shared a screenshot of Moore’s post on Instagram.

Both Mahomes and Lance have been ridiculed online as some point out that Mahomes has put on some weight and that the San Francisco 49ers quarterback’s receding hairline makes him appear much older.

Fair enough, Mahomes wasn’t exactly svelte and sleek in 2022, and he also experienced some worrying physical setbacks during the playoffs. He may be excused for taking a break after assisting in bringing KC another victory.

Given his legendary work ethic, if the signal-caller has put on weight, we’re confident he will lose it before the 2023–24 season and get back to where he wants to be. Lance may not be able to do much about his hairline, unfortunately.
