Ex-Premier League players compelled to falsify past while seeking love on reality TV show
Ryan Babel and Jamie O’Hara are two of the former Premier League football players who will have to LIE on a brand-new reality dating program.
The show “Love Under Cover” will debut on Peacock’s streaming service on May 9.
In order to find love in Hollywood, Los Angeles, five football players, both current and past, would hide their occupations from unmarried ladies.
Former Tottenham and Wolves midfielder O’Hara, 37, and former Liverpool player Babel, 37, are two of the most recognizable names that may be seen on the show.
The 25-year-old defender Lloyd Jones from Charlton, who attended Liverpool’s academy, will be joining them.
Marco Fabian, 34, and Sebastian Fassi, 30, a couple from Mexico, are also featured on the show.

While Fassi, who seems to get caught up in a “love triangle,” plays for Spanish third-tier team San Fernando, Fabian was formerly a player for Eintracht Frankfurt.

Although O’Hara is currently a talkSPORT presenter, he previously received £300,000 to participate in Big Brother in 2017. As such, he is no stranger to reality TV.

Additionally, he made a somewhat cheesy joke about the theme of the program being “Lionel Messi” as he was seen telling a woman in the recently released trailer that he works as an advertisement salesperson.

However, at one point, he seemed unable to handle the camera even though he had experience operating one, storming off the scene. Let’s see how far these Premier League stars will go.
