Eagles’ Jason Kelce Take On Tom Brady Yelling At His O-line

If you are a member of Tom Brady’s squad, there is a good possibility that the intensely competitive quarterback will yell at you at some time. Which Jason Kelce is not ready to take being an O-line!

Brady has a strong desire to win, and he makes his teammates aware when they aren’t performing their duties. The most recent instance occurred last Sunday during the Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers when cameras captured the 45-year-old quarterback criticising his offensive lineman on the sidelines.

For those who may not be aware, this past Sunday against the Steelers, a furious Brady was overheard yelling at his offensive line. But despite his yelling, Tampa Bay lost to Pittsburgh 20-18, the Buccaneers’ third defeat in as many games.

With more than 165 NFL games under his belt, Kelce has experienced his share of quarterback yelling, and he is not a fan.

Jason Kelce Is Not A Fan Of Tom Brady For Yelling At His O-line!

Philadelphia Eagles lineman Jason Kelce had no problem admitting as much on his “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“Did you see the clip? He was yelling at them boys,” Jason told Travis. “Listen, he’s Tom Brady. I can’t say anything. If Tom yells at me, I’m probably not gonna say anything either. But playing o-line is hard. If there’s one thing I do not like, it is quarterbacks getting into offensive linemen. Like bro, I am f—ing doing the best I can, brother! Get the f— out of my face! I will put you in that trash can over there if you don’t shut the f— up.

The last thing I want is a motherf—er that can’t get hit, or it’s called roughing the passer, to come up to me and tell me how to f—ing wrestle somebody every play. Get the f— out of here.”

Jason Kelce reluctantly acknowledged that Brady has a right to be more demanding of his offensive lineman, particularly if doing so produces results.

However, Kelce’s perspective likely reflects how many offensive linemen feel about getting yelled at by their quarterback, particularly one with a less impressive resume than Brady. While Brady’s barking is tolerated by teammates as long as their team is winning, it’s worth considering whether attitudes might shift if the Buccaneers keep having problems.

Tampa Bay has dropped three of its last four games to fall to 3-3, and through six games, they rank 21st in the NFL in terms of yards per game.
