During French Open Finals, Tom Brady accompanied Jelena, the wife of Novak Djokovic, the whole match

Tom Brady enjoyed a front-row view of the 2023 French Open final between Novak Djokovic and Casper Ruud on Sunday.

Brady was in Djokovic’s box at Roland Garros’ Philippe-Chatrier court when the match started, sitting close to Djokovic’s wife, Jelena.

To overtake Rafael Nadal for the record for the most men’s singles majors in history, Djokovic needs to win his 23rd Grand Slam championship of his career.

Brady and Djokovic have a long-standing friendship; in fact, Djokovic acknowledged in 2021 that he consults with Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion who announced his “for good” retirement in February.

“I was close with Kobe Bryant, as well as Monica Seles, Andre Agassi and Boris Becker, who were my coaches, and Pete Sampras. I have spoken often with them, and I speak with Tom Brady frequently about training and recovery,” Djokovic said. “I make an effort to make use of the opportunity to share something with all sportsmen and sportswomen, things that aided me or hindered me, and I ask questions, especially to those who have reached the pinnacle of their sport.”

On Saturday, Brady shared Instagram pictures of himself at the 24-hour auto race known as the 24 Hours of Le Mans when he was already in France.

The former quarterback recently took his children to Disney World, as seen by the photo he shared last Monday of himself and his daughter Vivian screaming on the Tower of Terror rollercoaster. This was followed by the former quarterback’s trip to France.

Brady captioned the photo, “The happiest place on earth (until you realize your kids were lying about Tower of terror being “mad chill”),” adding a laughing emoji.

Djokovic played in his 34th Grand Slam final on Sunday.

He would become the first player to have at least three victories in each of the four majors if he were to win, giving him three French Open titles.
