Brylie St. Clair is back in action

In the midst of an influx of new supporters, Mississippi State softball player Brylie St. Clair, in her fifth season as an outfielder, is making her final trip back to campus.

St. Clair, known as the “Olivia Dunne of the Diamond,” revealed last week that she was returning to Starkville by uploading some photos of herself in uniform and showcasing her singing abilities online.

St. Clair’s social media skills flourished this summer while she went horseback riding, and hunting, and spent time by the lake.

Two videos that the fifth-year senior, who has 230,000 followers on TikTok, posted last week to mark one of her final visits to the Bulldogs’ campus.

She added a teary emoji and said, “Last first day of school ever,” while lip-syncing to a SZA song.

St. Clair also included a video in which she briefly interrupted a bullpen session to sing karaoke with a buddy.

“It was fun to really take my platform and channel it more for young softball girls,” St. Clair told The Dispatch last year. “They get to see, ‘This is fun. This is enjoyable. I want to be there. I want to be able to do that.’ It’s fun to be able to use my platform for that.”

St. Clair, who hit .239 and was fourth on the team in hits with 23, was one of just two Bulldogs to appear in all 53 games the previous season.

The rising celebrity admitted to The Dispatch that she enjoys sharing a day in the life of a Division I athlete with her TikTok fans.

“I just feel like the different content reaches different people, so it’s fun to get all these different people who are interested in different things to be involved with my content,” St. Clair said.
