Drake Promises Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann a Rolex After Profiting $1.6 Million on Them
The world leader in MMA promotion returned to London for the second time this year. Earlier this year, the UFC put on a show at the 02 arena, UFC president Dana White liked the whole experience of the event that he had to come back for round two. The likes of Paddy Pimblett, and Tom Aspinall, among others, were a few of the stars around whom the card was built.
A few hours before the fight, Canadian rapper Drake shared a screenshot of a bet he placed. ‘Drizzy Drake’ placed a parlay of over $2 million on Pimblett and McCann and ended up winning over $3.7 million as both of them secured impressive wins in front of their home crowd.

Following the win, Molly McCann took to her Instagram profile to ask Drake if both her and Paddy could get a Rolex for their performances tonight. Drake replied, “Rollies for Meatball and the Baddy”. In the post fight interview McCann also said, “Ay can I just throw this out there to ESPN, Drake is buying me and Paddy a new Rolex…. He won a million and a half on us so I said can I get a taste of that lad?”
Pimblett said, “We’ve just been messaged on Instagram, and he was like yes you’re getting a Rolex each for that.”
What is next for Paddy Pimblett?
‘The Baddy’ came into the UFC with a lot of hype around him given that he was a two-division champion in Cage Warriors the same promotion from where Conor McGregor was signed for the UFC.
After an impressive win over Leavitt, ‘The Baddy’ has now shown that he has a well-rounded game. It is a given that Pimblett’s next fight will be a massive jump up in competition as he is both a good fighter and extremely marketable. However, it will be interesting to see if Pimblett will be able to make it all the way to the top given the kind of competition that exists in the UFC’s lightweight division.
