Domonique Foxworth Questions Adrian Wojnarowski’s Journalism Credibility

Dan Le Batard, a well-known sports talk show personality and ardent Heat supporter, spoke candidly about the status of the trade negotiations between Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers, his local club.

Domonique Foxworth Questions Adrian Wojnarowski’s Journalism Credibility

Le Batard was so enraged, in fact, that he fired off a few harsh jabs at the chief reporter for his former company, ESPN. Yes, Le Batard had a lot to say about Adrian Wojnarowski’s reporting on ESPN during the Lillard trade negotiations.

Le Batard asserted that Wojnarowski served as the Portland Trail Blazers’ spokesperson:

“Thank you for bringing up Woj,” Le Batard said Monday regarding Damian Lillard trade talks. “The Heat know that he is just agenda-based schilling and bought and paid for by Portland. Like it is embarrassing that Woj is telling people it might be weeks or months on Lillard. And this is the Heat’s position, there are no calls going back and forth. The offer is [Tyler] Herro and Herro’s the best one you’re gonna get from anybody. He’s better than [Tyrese] Maxey. He’s the best you’re gonna get. You’re boxed in. Lillard wants to be with us. This is the offer.”

Le Batard tweeted out clips of his criticism of Wojnarowski, to  which Foxworth shared on his social media profile

After leaving the quarterback mania, Foxworth tweeted about his colleague Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wojnarowski is regarded by ESPN as one of its best NBA correspondents and one of its top reporters overall. Wojnarowski receives a reported $10 million from ESPN each year for his reporting.

It follows that ESPN wouldn’t like a staff member posting tweets that disparage Wojnarowski’s journalistic integrity.

Foxworth quickly removed his retweets, but neither ESPN nor Wojnarowski addressed the allegations.

It’s not the first time Wojnarowski has been accused of having an agenda since many well-known sports writers on a national scale regularly advance the causes of their information sources. After all, Wojnarowski has been adept in breaking news reporting for a long time, so it is part of the game at that level.

In a tweet from earlier this year, Mark Jones referred to Stephen A. Smith as a “coon.” Jones circulated tweets that claimed J.J. Redick was a racist. Sam Ponder was mocked in a tweet that Sarah Spain liked, calling him a “bigot.” Several tweets condemning Sage Steele were liked by Nicole Briscoe.

ESPN’s locker room was destroyed by weak, emotionally unstable brats.
