Ascending quickly through the ranks

Following his call-up by the Orioles for this week’s series at Fenway Park against the Boston Red Sox, Jackson is primed for big things.

“He was always hitting something,” To USA Today, his grandfather Tom said.

“He had the greatest eye-hand coordination that I’ve ever seen in my life.”

When he makes it to the major leagues, the baseball prospect will be pleased to have his well-known name on the back of his jersey.

“Our whole family’s well known, in baseball at least,” he said.

“It’s good to wear it with pride.”
