“His story is marked by ups and downs, from his humble beginnings as a working class boy from East London to the motivation and tenacity that led him to triumph and his struggle to combine ambition with love and family,” reads the movie’s plot summary.
One of the incidents that distinguished David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s marriage within those ups and downs was the two-decades-old infidelity suspicions.

As the player’s helper during those years, Rebecca Loos, came to the attention of the media, the footballer was allegedly having an affair with her. According to Beckham’s own wife, it was “the worst time of their marriage,” as she acknowledged in this documentary.

“The world was attacking us and we were against each other. Even in Madrid, we were together, but we didn’t feel each other’s support. I can’t describe how it affected us. I have never been so unhappy in my life,” revealed the Beckham’s wife and former Spice Girls star.
Rebecca Loos has consistently argued that the allegations of David Beckham’s infidelity against Victoria are real, despite David Beckham’s constant denials to the contrary.
The young woman described the allegedly sexual encounter she had with the Real Madrid player in a 2004 interview on Sky One as being somewhat clinical in character.

“It was clothes off, get the action done and out within half an hour,” Loos told Sky One.
“I left there feeling absolutely… I felt like a whore. I felt really cheap, I felt used. I felt like a bit of a prostitute.
“By the time it was over, it was very difficult to deal with. I was besotted by him.”

Rebecca Loos has drawn a lot of criticism from viewers on social media despite the fact that her name is never mentioned in the documentary. As a result, she even made a statement about the dispute on her own Instagram account.
“Thank you, I’m taking the nasty comments with as much humor as I can,” Loos posted.
