Dick Vitale Wishes For Tom Brady-Gisele To Reconcile

Dick Vitale hopes that love is still alive between Tom Brady and Gisele. The venerable voice of college basketball on ESPN, Vitale, is hoping for a reunion between the two.

On Monday morning, Vitale posted on his Twitter account, days after it was revealed that the Brazilian supermodel and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback had filed for divorce. He expressed his desire for Brady and Gisele to “go back to joyful days” in his letter. He compared the split of the couple to the short-lived marriage of actor Sly Stallone.

But as it happens, he wasn’t finished with the Brady-Gisele soap opera that had grown. Dickie V reacted to The New York Post’s query with a lengthy pleading. From a distance, Tom and Gisele’s relationship appeared to be going well, said Vitale. Additionally, how it would affect their young children and the fact that, in his opinion, none of the standard grounds for divorce applies in their case:

“I have simply seen many pics over the years of the fantastic passion in the open they demonstrated with each other & the love they both have for their young children,” Dick Vitale wrote in a text message to the Post. “Thus, I hope ultimately they can sit down with a professional & work out their differences.”

“Tom playing football should not end a marriage of two people that have shown so much LOVE FOR EACH OTHER,” he wrote. “Yes, I hope they can find a way to resolve their differences. Heck, usually, the end happens due to a 3rd party/ drugs- alcohol/ financial stress etc.

“I am not in any way an expert or have any inside info – just know what I have read of this soap opera AS THE WORLD OF GISELE & TOM spins & I am hoping for a reconciliation that brings them & their children loads of HEALTH & HAPPINESS.”

The divorce between Brady and Bündchen, who were married for more than 13 years, was finalized last week. In addition to the son and daughter they share, Brady also has a son from a previous union with the actress Bridget Moynahan.

Well, we can always hope for the best. Sometimes letting go of your partner makes you realise what a beautiful bond it was. Divorce, on paper, does not necessarily mean the end of love. Well said, “You only know you love her when you let her go.”
