Detroit Lions vs Washington Commanders – Predictions

Final Score Prediction: Commanders: 27 | Lions: 31

In Week 1, the Lions fell just short against the Eagles. We believe they have a good chance of defeating the Commanders in Week 2. Late in the game, the Detroit running game will win it for them. Washington is thought to be in a strong position to contend right now. However, Detroit proved they could keep up with a more resilient Philadelphia squad.

Against the Jaguars in Week 1, the Commanders struggled to stop the run, which will be a problem against Detroit in Week 2. While the Lions averaged 6.5 yards per rush against the Eagles in their season opener, Washington allowed 6.8 yards per carrying against Jacksonville.
