Detroit Lions’ D’Andre Swift RB: NFL Fantasy Data & Stats Speculations 2022
Player Outlook
With running back D’Andre Swift, the Detroit Lions have a potential piece to add to their future puzzle. The 2021 season saw the Lions embark on a new era with Jared Goff at the helm after dealing away veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford the offseason before. Detroit finished 3-13-1 despite having a dearth of offensive skill, earning the second overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Swift is expected to play a significant part as the organization looks to rebuild itself in the upcoming season. Since joining the NFL, Swift has been referred to be a breakthrough possible, and that isn’t about to change.

Swift’s ability to acquire the ball in space is one of his strengths, so it would be foolish for Detroit to not use that, but it would also be foolish for them to give him too many touches and put him in a position to tyre out again.

Swift has the chance to be the top fantasy running back in the NFL, but the Lions’ overall offense and his history of injuries may prevent him from being a reliable first-round choice. Swift has missed 10 games over the course of the past two seasons, as are the Lions and you.

He remains one of the top 10 Fantasy running backs being selected on Draft Day due to his pass-catching potential. Swift has had more than 50 targets, 45 catches, and 100 carries in each of the past two seasons. His reliability and output need to be there. Swift has a high ceiling.
