Denver Broncos vs Houston Texans Week 2 2022: TV Coverage, Live Scores, Odds Lines, Spreads, and Predictions

Game Preview

Week 2’s Sunday game between the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos takes place at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. Could the Texans pull a coup this year? The fact that Houston tied Indianapolis in the first game really caught us off guard.

In Week 1, the Texans and the visiting Indianapolis Colts drew 20-20. After three quarters, Houston was up 20-3 but lost that advantage in the remaining 15 minutes. The Colts’ Rodrigo Blankenship missed a 42-yard field goal attempt with two minutes remaining in overtime, saving the Texans from a loss.

Russell Wilson, the Broncos’ starting quarterback, visited the city where he spent his first ten NFL seasons, but the Broncos lost 17-16. Late in regulation, new Denver coach Nathaniel Hackett decided to attempt a 64-yard game-winning field goal, a move that was criticized by fans. As a result, the Broncos suffered a defeat.

Denver Broncos vs Houston Texans – Predictions

Final Score Prediction: Broncos: 27 | Texans: 21

With new owners, a new head coach, and a new quarterback, the Broncos will start the 2022 season. This squad is designed to win the Super Bowl. They’ll play a Texans team that outperformed a shockingly ineffective Colts offence.

Given that their attack is even more run-oriented than Denver’s, the Texans would probably find it difficult to catch up if Denver can take an early lead and then use the ground game to extend the game. The Texans also have a young quarterback and a new coach. Houston will try to slow down a Denver attack that is loaded with weapons on defence because the Texans don’t want to enter a shootout.

Denver Broncos vs Houston TexansBetting Trends

Denver won the most recent meeting between these clubs, 38-24, on December 8, 2019, at Houston. Denver has won and covered in three of the last four meetings, and the Under has won three of the last four games overall and five of the last seven.

NFL Injuries

Brevin Jordan of the Houston Texans was a limited participant in practise on Wednesday due to an ankle injury. Jordan is not on the fantasy radar and can be placed on the waiver wire in most formats because Howard is the quarterback Davis Mills’ main red zone target.

Wide receiver KJ Hamler of the Denver Broncos missed practise on Wednesday due to hip and knee injuries. He had knee and hip issues going into Week 1’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, but he ended up playing.
