Days Before Super Bowl, Media legend, Ines Sainz Announces Her Comeback

Ines Sainz, the Tom Brady of Mexican TV reporters, is back this week for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, and it seems like this industry legend isn’t going to slow down.

If you’re not familiar with the 45-year-old Sainz, she rose to fame in the early days of social media and the Super Bowl as the stunning TV reporter from Mexico who asked questions during Super Bowl Media Day. The players who were going to play the game were smaller than her.

Sainz would make a difference, so media outlets interviewed her during media day.

A 2011 headline from the Reuters news agency read, “TV reporter Ines Sainz steals the Super Bowl spotlight,” after she showed up to media day in Dallas wearing a micro minidress and black stilettos and spoke with reporters about an uncomfortable experience she had in 2010 at the New York Jets training facility.

Sainz then went on to represent Mexican TV reporters at the Super Bowl as their official face.

Even though Sainz’s fame and splendor are past, she still manages to make an appearance each Super Bowl week. Those Super Bowl media doors have welcomed pretenders and rivals to her reign, but now that Super Bowl LVIII is just a few days away, Sainz is back on her throne, reporting from the location that launched the Sainz brand.

“Now in full mood Las Vegas (via Instagram translator),” Sainz said from a casino on Sunday in a message to her followers.

The industry great was at her best 22 years after making her debut in the Super Bowl, and she doesn’t seem to be slowing down. On Monday night, she was there on the field during Super Bowl Media Day/Night. She is no longer presiding over media organizations. Those are the distant memories.
