Adams left the Raiders’ 38-10 defeat to the Bills in the fourth quarter when Rapp struck him in the head as quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo attempted a long throw to the All-Pro receiver. Rapp was called for unnecessary roughness, while Adams was declared out for the rest of the game and was being checked for a concussion.
"Maybe if that man learns how to play the game the right way…he won't have to live off of plays like that."

after absorbing a helmet-to-helmet collision from Bills safety Taylor Rapp as the double-covered receiver dropped to the ground on a long ball attempt.
When speaking with reporters on Wednesday, Adams was critical of Rapp and the type of player he is. According to ESPN:
“Was it unnecessary? Completely, obviously,” Adams said. “But, certain players play a certain way, too. Some people, out of control, they fly around, they don’t really have much true purpose out there. I mean, playing a half field on one side, you run over and hit somebody in the head on the other side of the field.

“That’s the kind of stuff that contributes to you not being on the field. That’s why you’re in when you’re blowing us out by 25 at the end of the game. Maybe if that man learns how to play the game the right way, he’ll see the field. Until then, he’ll have to go and live off of plays like that, I guess.”
Adams is “good” after passing the concussion protocol, according to Raiders coach Josh McDaniels. On Wednesday, he took part in full practice.

Rapp, who signed a one-year contract with the Bills in March after playing the previous four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, has appeared in two games for Buffalo but has yet to start. As a Ram, he started 48 of 57 games and made seven tackles in Los Angeles’ Super Bowl 56 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022.
