Football fans have universally denounced Snyder for his contentious ownership of the Washington Commanders. Numerous investigations turned up proof that Snyder fostered a “culture of fear” that encompassed, among other things, witness intimidation, financial fraud, and sexual harassment.

Fans of the Commanders are jubilant at Snyder’s decision to sell the NFL club. Josh Harris, co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils, and his company have agreed to purchase the Commanders, according to a statement released by Snyder on Friday.

The news thrilled supporters, and now a Minor League Baseball club in the Washington, D.C., region is allowing those fans an opportunity to celebrate.

For the game on May 18, the Bowie Baysox, a Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, are providing $10 day-of-game box seats to any spectators sporting Commanders apparel.

Each fan who attends the game wearing Commanders apparel will be given a $10 box seat. All “Josh” or “Harris” fans will get a complimentary general admission ticket.

Josh Harris, a member of the new ownership group in Washington, is its leader.
A free general admission ticket will be given to every fan who shows up to the game wearing a Magic Johnson jersey.

Johnson is a member of the new ownership group for the franchise. The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by one fan wearing a Magic jersey, one fan called “Josh,” and one person named “Harris.”

Videos from Washington football past will air in between innings. A “going away cake” will be served to in honor of Snyder’s departure.

The Baysox are giving supporters a “going away cake” in honor of the Commanders’ soon-to-be-former owner to cap off the campaign. It’s all in good humor!”
