Dalvin Cook Offered $1 Million to His Ex-Girlfriend Gracelyn Trimble to Take the Assault Charges Back. Know the Whole Story
According to a document filed in Dakota County District Court, Minnesota Vikings star running back, Dalvin Cook offered $1 million to a former girlfriend to clear him of wrongdoing despite the fact that she had previously attested to abuse claims against him.
According to a court document obtained by The Star Tribune, Dalvin Cook promised his ex-girlfriend Gracelyn Trimble payments of $800,000 and $1,000,000 in exchange for her silence throughout his trial and a letter to the NFL clearing Cook of any wrongdoing.
Cook’s initial cash offer, according to attorney Daniel Cragg, was “not only evidence of a crime,” but it was also admissible at trial to demonstrate that Cook attempted to induce Trimble to lie by altering his sworn statement.
According to Cragg’s motion, “This does not pass the smell test and can and should be admissible as evidence of Cook’s consciousness of guilt.” Before Dakota County Judge Jamie Cork was scheduled to seal the document, The Star Tribune was able to secure a copy of it on Thursday.
